At Cedar Spring Baptist Church, we are committed to serving our local communities and our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Below please find some of the mission work that our members are involved in. If you would like to learn more, contact Lori Smith.
EP TODD BACKPACK AND FOOD MINISTRY
Every Wednesday from 9:30-10:00 a.m.
Join us for a sweet time of serving and fellowship every Wednesday when we prepare food bags for 70 students and then pray for those students and their families.
KENTUCKY MISSION TRIP
December 6-8, 2026
Cost: Hotel for 2 nights + 4 meals
We will leave after church on Sunday, December 6, and drive to our hotel in Wise, Virginia. Monday and Tuesday, we will go to various schools across the border in Jenkins, Kentucky, to pass out backpacks, play games, and share the Gospel with students in all grade levels from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Cost can be reduced by sharing a hotel room with another mission team member.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
DUE SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8
Shoeboxes are available in the foyer and the office hallway if you would like to take one and fill it for a child. Please turn them back in filled and ready to go by Sunday, November 8th.
IT TAKES A NEIGHBOR
CSBC is partnering with Madelyn Kyle and It Takes A Neighbor to provide staple food and Hygiene products for those in need. We are collecting pop top canned foods and hand sanitizer for the month of November. If you can pick up a couple of extra cans or some of the small hand sanitizers, it would be a great help!
SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE INFORMATIONAL MEETING
October 11 @ 5:00 p.m.
Roebuck Baptist Church
Sleep In Heavenly Peace is an organization in our area that builds beds for children who do not have one in their homes. There are over 430 kids in our area who do not have a bed of their own to sleep in. This organization, along with partners like Lowes and Serta, build beds, deliver and assemble them, and make them up with brand new pillows, sheets, and comforters.
There is an information meeting on October 11 at 5:00 pm at Roebuck Baptist Church regarding a Bed Build event on November 7. If you would like to go to the information meeting with Lori, please let her know.
If you are interested in volunteering and participating in this Bed Build, please let Lori Smith know also. We would like to have a team from CSBC to participate in this mission project.
